|The Program Down Under.|
At 1:45 we left for our second practice of the day that included even more transition and 7 v. 7 and ended with an exciting scrimmage. We made our way back to the bungalows for dinner which meant spaghetti and meat sauce in 102 (best smelling bungalow tonight!). Next we met for a team meeting and brought along our leftovers that could've fed the whole team. During our inspirational meeting we set two goals to accomplish during the last leg of our trip.
Following the meeting, the sophomores, juniors, and seniors prepped bungalow 100 to surprise Liz Hyde '16 on her 19th birthday with cupcakes, ice cream, and brownies. A hilarious game of charades ensued with Holly Foster '14 acting out "funky", Jess Frieder '15 getting creative with "The Bourne Identity", and Kyleigh Williams '14 bringing back Justin Timberlake's "SexyBack".
One of the highlights of the day was finding out that we are scrimmaging the South Australian U-19 team tomorrow night following practice. This will get us even more pumped up for the 3 games at the end of the week. It was a beautiful day and we can't wait to get back to work tomorrow!
Check back tomorrow for more!
